Multiple deputies are down at a still-active scene in Douglas County, Colorado, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s office.
Shots were fired from a home after deputies responded to a disturbance call shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday morning. The shooter is still at large. The Denver Post reports that police are prepared to send in a SWAT team to address the situation.
A Code Red has been issued for the area and residents have been told by officials to shelter in place until the suspect has been caught.
