​SAD: HANK WILLIAMS JR.’S DAUGHTER KILLED IN CAR CRASH

Katherine D. Williams-Dunning, daughter of country singer Hank Williams, Jr. was killed Saturday, June 13, in a car accident on Highway 79 in Henry County, Tennessee northeast of Paris.

 Katherine, 27,  was driving at the time of the crash, which took place around 7:45 p.m. according to Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Brad Wilbanks.  The SUV, a 2007 Chevrolet which was towing a boat, crossed the highway median and rolled over before coming to a stop on the shoulder. 

Her husband, 29-year-old Tyler Dunning, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where at last report was “awake and responding” but they “don’t know injury extent yet.” 

Katherine and Tyler married in October 2015. They share two children, 5-year-old son Beau and 2-year-old daughter Audrey Jane. 

Williams-Dunning was born on October 21, 1992 and was the daughter of Hank Williams Jr. and Mary Jane Thomas and the sister of singer Sam Williams’ and half-sister of Shelton Hank Williams (Hank III), Holly Williams and Hilary Williams.
