NBC Bay Area reporter Jodi Hernandez tweeted yesterday “Our camera was rolling when anti-Trump protestors surrounded a CHP patrol car. One person climbed on the hood and the officer behind the wheel immediately knocked him off by speeding up the car.
Two people were injured and one was taken to hospital. The crowd had gathered to protest President Trump as he visited Sacramento.” The protester was taken in an ambulance following the incident, and it’s unclear if he was seriously harmed.
The crowd of protesters was gathered outside McClellan Airport in Sacramento, where the president met with Gov. Gavin Newsom on Monday to discuss the raging wildfires in the state.
The two leaders met despite the protesters, with Trump calling Newsom a “good man” following the discussion.
Here’s a newsflash folks, when you don’t break the law and obey police, you don’t get thrown off of the top of a police cruiser. Who knew?
