The 2020 U.S. Open Golf Tournament, started 120 yeas ago in 1895. The tournament is actually taking place for the 114th time, as it missed 2 years during World War I and missed 4 years due to World War II.
It is all happening at the historic Winged Foot golf course in Mamaroneck, N.Y., where the open has been held five times. If you like or love golf, and have been quarantined most of the year, this week should be very enjoyable.
Since there are no qualifing rounds this year, it should be very interesting. All of the top golfers are excited at playing at probably one of the hardest courses in golf. In past years that the open has been held at Winged Foot, most all winners have won with over par scores.
